Composite micropiled footing in Viaduct over Corgo river valley



CONCEPTUAL DESIGN / SERVICES CARRIED OUT

It's a composite micropiled footing solution that part of the load is transferred directly to the ground by reinforced concrete footings (or caps), and the remaining load is transmitted in depth with the micropiles.
The micropile caps of the piers P18 and P19 are hollow in the center and have a height of 3.0m, and in the case of the piers P15 and P16 the caps have a height of 2.5m.
