Upstream and downstream embankment slope with 1:3 (V:H) and 1:2,5  (V:H), respectively.
Drainage system with chimney filter and downstream blanket drain.
Side-channel spillway (Q_10.000years = 623 m³/s) with a crest type WES with 41 m of extension and a USBR stilling basin type II with 50 m of extension.
Temporary deviation tunnel with a horseshoe cross section (B = 6 m), converted in 2^nd stage to the bottom outlet with a Ø1200 mm pipe. Tower water intake with three entries.
